Cookie Policy

This site does not use cookies. It stores two items in your browser’s local storage, both described below, and it measures page views using a service that does not place anything on your device.

No advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking takes place on this site, and no data described here is sold or shared with third parties for their own purposes.

Cookie preference. When you respond to the notice, your response is stored under the name scraipt:cookie-choice, with the value all or essential. Its purpose is to prevent the notice from being shown again. It remains until you clear site data.

Session message. A short confirmation message is held in session storage while you are moved between pages. It is removed once displayed, and in any case when the tab is closed.

Neither item is transmitted to us. Both can be inspected under Local Storage and Session Storage in your browser’s developer tools. If your browser blocks storage, the site continues to function.

Page views are measured using Vercel Web Analytics, provided by Vercel Inc. The service records that a page was requested, together with approximate region, referring source and device type. It does not set a cookie, does not store an identifier on your device and does not track visitors across other websites.

We use this information in aggregate to understand how the site is found and used. It is not used to identify individuals.

Because no information is stored on or read from your device, this measurement operates for all visitors and is not subject to the notice. It can be prevented by any standard content blocker, and the site functions normally when it is blocked.

The notice offers two responses: Accept all and Only essential cookies. As no optional cookies or device storage are currently in use, both responses have the same effect: the notice is dismissed and your response is recorded.

Your recorded response is retained so that it can be applied to any optional processing introduced in future.

Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes both stored items, and the notice will be shown again on your next visit. In most browsers this is available under privacy or site settings, or from the padlock icon beside the address bar.

Links from this site to external services, including our social media accounts, are governed by the policies of those services. This policy does not apply to them.

If the storage or measurement described here changes, this page is updated in the same release and the date above is revised.
